Description:
This long straight away par 5 is the start of a challenging finish. The fairway bunker guarding the left side of the fairway is for aesthetics only. The uphill second shot is semi-blind and will test even the lowest of handicappers.
How to Play It:
The tee shot should be taken at the left edge of the willow tree beside the green. A long player can carry the fairway bunker on that line, and that line will also keep the short player safe. The shorter players needed to layup have a bunker about 80 yards short of the green to negotiate. Keep your layup right or short of this bunker and you will be able to see the green surface. The longer player should challenge this hole by going for it in two. The miss is right of the green. The green is guarded by bunkers, but a confident player can get up and down from these bunkers. The green has a knoll in the center of it that will kick your ball one of 4 ways. With the pin in the front you will want to be pin high or short, and any shot on the upper level will have a good chance to a back pin.
